Two series so far, each one born out of a different chapter of my life. More to come.
Stronger Now
Three paintings, one season, one truth: hard doesn't mean broken.
I started Embrace the Storm, Unyielding Spirit, and Resilient Grace all around the same time, during a stretch that included a breast cancer scare and more than one hard season stacked on top of each other. All three came from the same place — learning that God holds me through the hard parts, which means I don't have to run from them. I can face them instead. Together, these paintings are about what's still standing after you've been through it. Not unshaken. Stronger.
Unfiltered and Unapologetic
Four women, fully themselves. No role, no filter, no apology.
This series started as a way to take my identity back — to stop playing a role just to be accepted and start showing up as who I actually am. Each of these four women feels what she feels and says what's true, without softening it for anyone. I painted this series to remind myself that I don't have to shrink to be loved. I just have to be real, and let myself live in the image God actually made me in.
