Reflecting on Tomorrow
18×24 Oil Painting on Gallery Wrapped Canvas
The beach restores my soul. There’s nothing more beautiful to me than watching the sun rise or set there.
You can almost feel the wind in this one — the palm branches, her hair, her dress, all leaning the same direction. The sky in the upper left is starting to darken, and the water in front of her has more movement than a placid ocean. Something’s coming.
She doesn’t run for cover. She’s not afraid. She stands in God’s promises to her, knowing He’s going to protect her — which is a message I have to remind myself of often when life’s storms roll in. The Bible tells us over and over: do not be afraid.
Original available.
